  • What is kencko?
    • kencko is an instant fruit and vegetable smoothie. Fresh, whole produce is flash-frozen and slow-dried to capture all its nutrients, fiber, color and flavor in a convenient powder. Each smoothie contains ~85 calories, and gives the same nutritional benefits as 2 cups of fresh produce. Simply mix with water or your favorite milk for a quick, healthy boost—wherever you are.
  • How do I use kencko?
    • Liquid goes in first (cold water or your favorite milk), add the contents of one packet, twist on the neck and bottle cap, and shake well for about a minute.
  • How much kencko should I drink, and when?
    • Enjoy one kencko a day, anytime, to get two of your recommended five daily servings of fruits and vegetables. We find most people drink kencko at least once a day, either in the morning or as a quick and healthy pick-me-up later in the day.
  • I'm new. Can I customize my flavors?
    • Yes. Choose your plan, and then select PICK YOUR FLAVORS. To remove a flavor, click on the black check mark. Click the down arrow for an ingredients list. When you're ready, click CHECKOUT to save your selections. To update your flavors assortment and customize your next box, login to your customer dashboard and manage your subscription's preferences.   • What should I mix kencko with?
    • Great question. Most kencko flavors are great with chilled water, but we think some are even better with plant milk.

  • What are the ingredients?
  • How many portions of fruit and/or vegetables is in one smoothie?
    • Each smoothie has at least two portions of fruit and/or vegetables—the equivalent of two cups of fresh produce.
  • What is five-a-day?
    • Studies have shown that fruit and vegetables start to protect your health in a significant way when you eat at least five portions a day—that is five cup-sized servings. As many as 9 out of 10 people in the US don’t reach this recommended daily minimum.

    • kencko is vegan-friendly.
  • Is kencko sweetened? Does it contain added sugars?
    • There are no added sugars or sweeteners in any of our smoothies.
  • Is kencko a meal replacement?
    • kencko smoothies can be a convenient breakfast option. Each packet has around 85 calories; depending on your personal nutrition needs, you may want to mix them with any milk or yogurt, boost with a scoop of protein powder, or add whole grains, nuts or seeds.   • Why did you switch from recyclable to compostable plastics?
    • Recyclable materials are theoretically good insofar as they are actually recycled. The hard truth is that only 9% of the world's plastic ever produced has been recycled—while the lion's share languishes in landfills and our oceans. What's more, for 2 decades the US has relied heavily on China to recycle its plastic waste; with that arrangement now at an end, recycling is in crisis.
      We know that compostables are not a perfect solution. The plant-based packaging material we've chosen to use is certified for industrial composting, meaning that it biodegrades within 90 days in a suitable facility. Because such facilities are not yet commonplace, we accept that a proportion of our packaging will end up where it always has - in landfill. But what's important to us is that, unlike conventional plastics, the new material will not create harmful microplastic particles when it breaks down or toxic fumes when it is incinerated. And while conventional plastic takes more than 400 years to degrade, compostable plastic takes a fraction of that—around 20 to 25 years. Moreover, it's made from renewable raw materials, mainly cellulose from plant fibers - not from fossil fuels.
  • What should I do with the empty packets?
    • Our clear, single-use smoothie packets are made from a plant-based compostable film. They biodegrade within 90 days in a suitable facility. If your local area doesn’t have composting facilities yet, add them to general waste rather than to plastic recycling.

  • What is the usable life of kencko?
    • 6+ months.

  • What is kencko's return policy?
    • kencko boxes are made to order, so we are unable to accept returns. All sales are final.

      If you are dissatisfied with any products ordered on our sites for any reason aside from damage, please contact us within seven days of the date you received the order. Depending on the circumstances, we may, in our sole discretion, replace the product at our expense. We may ask you to provide photographs or other supporting evidence before we provide you a replacement.
  • Where does kencko ship to?
    • We ship to over 100 countries and regions around the world, including the UK, Europe, Australia, the Middle East and China. If you’re shopping from North America, visit kencko.com for more shipping options. Feel free to contact us for more information.
  • When will my order arrive?
    • Most of our orders are shipped within 3 business days of purchase and usually arrive within 5-8 business days. You can track all shipments on your account page. Refill shipments are determined by your original order date and your desired refill frequency. On rare occasions, shipping may take longer than expected. If you don’t receive your order within 10 days, please contact us with your order number.
  • Can I skip my next order?
    • Yes. You can skip an order anytime from your account. Select "subscriptions" to manage your upcoming subscription orders.
  • Can I change or cancel my order?
    • If you need to change or cancel an order that has already been placed, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate any changes. If your order has already shipped, the order cannot be canceled or rerouted to a different address.
  • How do I manage my membership?
    • Login to your account to manage your subscription membership. You’re in control. Rush, snooze, or cancel anytime.
